Overview

With a population of a larger European city suburb (650.000), Montenegro is an enchanting little country full of extreme geographical diversities.

Great mountains with snow peaks, steep fiord-like hills almost vertically diving into the Adriatic Sea, mountain lakes full of fish, mystical monasteries carved in the solid rock, sandy and sunny beaches that go on for miles alongside the coast. That is all Montenegro.

Our guides are all experienced professionals with years of experience touring through this area so they know all the best spots to stop but most importantly they present and explain the history, politics, people, customs, and food of Montenegro in a fun and informative way.

We want you to feel relaxed on our tour, and let us worry about borders, ferries, and traffic jams, and we tailor each of our tour so that we spend most time in destinations rather than in traffic or on border crossings.

We hope you join us on this tour, since Montenegro awaits you!!!

Perast
Perast is tiny medieval city of only 250 inhabitants, located between steep mountain and Kotor Bay. During our stop in Perast, guests will have opportunity to marvel the baroque captains' palaces and numerous churches with Saint Nicolas's Cathedral and its bell tower -the tallest in all of Kotor Bay. In front of the city are 2 islands -Our Lady of the Rocks and Saint George Island. Our Lady of the Rocks is man made island in 17.ct with gorgeous Barque church and museum and can be visited on a short private boat ride from Perast.

Kotor Old City
Upon arrival to Kotor, once an independent city-state, and from 14.ct under Venetian influence, you would have time to explore its narrow streets, sunny squares, and churches followed by time for lunch (optional). We suggest entering the Romanesque Cathedral of Saint Triphon, Maritime Museum of Kotor, and Saint Nicolas Serbian Orthodox Church. Possible climb to Saint John's Fort above the city of Kotor (750ft altitude).
Your guide will explain you all the important sites beforehand and hand you the free map of the city to explore it on your own.

Fort Vrmac - Old Austro-Hungarian Fortress
Fort Vrmac is the top of the Trojica Hill pass between Kotor and Grbalj. We will do 2 panoramic photo-stops.
One stop would be just before the pass so guests can enjoy views of inner part of the Bay with Kotor tucked in the very bottom of it.
Second photo-stop is just after the pass with great views to outer Kotor Bay, Flower Island, and the city of Tivat, its airport and boat marina.

Budva is little beach tourist city with charming small Old Town. Group can decide between walking the city walls, visiting Venetian citadel and museum, as well as St. John Church, or take a swim in the Adriatic sea from one of many Budva's beaches (in which case do not forget to bring your swim suit). If you feel hungry, your guide will gladly suggest few places for lunch and you can choose on dining in the Old Town, on the walking promenade or right on one of the beaches.

Amazing Day Trip

We greatly enjoyed our day tour with Mato. The views were breathtaking, the ride was comfortable, and the boarder crossings were easy. Mato shared his expertise and passion for this region. His sense of humor added a lot to the tour and kept the longer legs of the journey interesting. Definitely a highlight of our trip to the area!
The magic of Montenegro with Filip!

My wife and I toured Montenegro with Filip guiding the way. Filip is so knowledgeable. He knows the most beautiful lookout locations, he knows the best food locations, and his knowledge of the area’s history and its people has to be unmatched in my opinion. You do not leave a tour with Filip and think that you missed something, he makes sure that you see everything you wanted to and more. Thank you Filip! We hope you will book with him!
All Around Fantastic Day in Montenegro!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Montenegro. Our driver, Filip, was right on time with his spotlessly clean car and provided us with a VERY full, VERY fun day. He provided us with an incredible amount of information about every area that we passed through and stopped in.

The stops that we made for coffee and snacks were fantastic and our dinner stop was unforgettable. The restaurant was an extremely special location with fantastic food.

We never felt rushed at any of our stops and had a thoroughly enjoyable day.

The bonus was that with Filip as our guide, we had a professional photographer with us. He has a great eye for where to stop to take beautiful shots. When he took our photo for us he made sure that the backgrounds were exceptionally beautiful.

Other bonuses were a fantastic restaurant suggestion for Dubrovnik and great music for the drive back.

Thank you Filip for providing us with one of the most memorable days on our vacation!
The highlight of our stay in Dubrovnik!

We decided to book two trips with this company after reading the excellents reviews here on Tripadvisor.... and we were not disappointed. Our first trip was to Montenegro and the wonderful Bay of Kotor. Although the weather was not ideal, our guide, Zeljko, made sure we had a very special day. He was courteous, knowledgeable and a safe driver. He stopped at places to give us special views of the Bay of Kotor and of Budva which would have been impossible with a large tour bus. He gave us different options too, letting us decide what we would rather see. We felt we had made a new friend by the time we arrived back in Dubrovnik in the late afternoon.

Our second trip was to Mostar and the Kravica Waterfalls with Baldo. Baldo is another great guide, with a wry sense of humour, which made the day that much more enjoyable. He too, gave us many suggestions regarding interesting places to visit and let us decide the itinerary for the day. After visiting the fascinating small town of Ston, we had 45 minutes to enjoy the waterfalls before arriving at Mostar where we had a great meal at a restaurant recommended by Baldo. He parked very close to the old bridge in a car park which would be inaccessible to a large bus. The long journey back from Mostar was made that much shorter by Baldo's reminiscing about 80s music, both Croatian and international, which gave us another insight into the culture of his country.

It was definitely money well spent opting for these two private tours, rather than travelling with a bus-load of tourists...we saw them waiting at the borders going through the labourious process of presenting their passports as we sped through relatively quickly. The attentive guides made sure that these two days were the highlight of our stay in Dubrovnik. You have a very professional team, Josip, and we'll be sure to be in contact the next time we visit Croatia.
Excellent tour with Filip

We had an amazing time with Filip driving along the gorgeous Bay of Kotor and taking plenty of postcard-worthy photos.

The highlights of our trip were exploring the charming little town of Perast and climbing the historic walls of Kotor. Filip was very knowledgeable and shared interesting nuggets about every stop along the way, even introducing a market stall where we could find the famed Njeguski prosciutto.

We would highly recommend engaging Filip for anyone taking a tour not just around Dubrovnik but in the surrounding regions.
