Absolutely loved the first 2 stops of the tour. This style of tour, Dana would tell us interesting facts and history in the van ride there and then leave us to roam the area for a certain amount of time.

Perast was so beautiful and we got there early before any other tours so the streets were quiet. We got some time to roam and our tour guide arranged a boat ride to an island with a church on it. We could not stop talking pictures of the breathtaking scenery. The mountains, crystal clear water and old buildings were beautiful. This time of year is quiet.

The next stop was Kotor and it is a walled medieval old town. I personally loved the shops and wish I knew ahead of time. Bring euros so you can bargain a good price. There were plenty of gift shops along with clothing and shoes and to my surprise and delight fantastic really good fake designer bags, but very high quality. They had all the current trending styles of designer bags, from 100 euro and up because the quality was so good. They had leather jackets, replica designer watches, clothes, boots, silk and cashmere scarves and more. There is also a beautiful walk up the mountain. You only have to go up a few rows of stairs to get amazing views of the port below. You can continue up but we didn’t have enough time. I wish we could have spent more time at this location.

Lastly we stopped at Budva. Compared to Dubrovnik and Kotor this walled city is much smaller. There are a few shops and restaurants. We did enjoy a late lunch Beach side.
Lovely country

Coastline views are stunning .when they can be seen. Our guide was knowledgable and professional . I can’t give you his name as when asked he gave multiple generic names John Juan Ivan . Guest in our uncomfortable minivans with restricted views home countries included uk Mexico Switzerland . HOWEVER website says 7.30am start . NOT TRUE. 6.40am with only one more collection less than 5 minutes away . When queried as not pleased it’s almost an hour earlier than stated we are told it’s in the additional information . TRUE . This is because the city authorities don’t allow the pickups for the coach tours after 7am. They are charging every minute after staying in that area after 7am and that’s is why it’s such an early pickup . Direct what’s app reply . SO as we got fast tracked early bird special through border control Got to our first stop perast so early 8.20am nothing in the one street town was open yet . No boats to go to lady of the rock that early either .it was beautiful and peaceful though so just enjoyed the views . By the time we were leaving 9.20am that had changed shops had opened and boats were running . Next stop Kotor which is lovely . We decided to use our two hours there to hike up to St. John’s fortress €8 per person great views . We still had time to look about the old town somewhat and grab an ice cream . Then on to budva. Nothing spectacular in this town to be honest . It would be better value to get more time in Kotor or choose another place of interest. If budva is a must set up a boat trip around the bay as an additional excursion instead of two hours wasted . Return journey time via the little ferry is good after a long day . Our guide ( no name) stopped for a Dubrovnik scenic photo op at a traveller in our groups request . A nice touch to end the trip .
