Mesmerising Montenegro

Keeping the Adriatic sea on our right and Dalmatian mountains on our left, we drove south from Dubrovnik towards Montengero. With the sun playing hide and seek mostly we made our first stop in the old city of Herceg Novi. Accompanied by our beloved guide Andro, who shared the history of the city along with exciting spots that we must see in Herceg Novi. A quaint little town with oldish charm dating back to Venetian empire. Andro pointed out rightly that sky looked dramatic that day and with only locals around this time of the year, the whole city looked like a good backdrop for a mystery thriller set around the middle ages. Sudden squall played a spoilsport we made back our way to the car and progressed to next stop which was the magical town of Perast.
Perast is an old town in Bay of Kotor with two famous islets nearby. The view of the bay and mountains surrounding is astounding. As per Andro's suggestion we took a boat to visit one of the islets called Our lady of the Rocks. One of the most mystical experiences ever in my life, for a brief 25 minutes we were completly alone on this island, because the boat went back to bring other passengers from the mainland. Just the two of us on this tiny islet. After coming back to the mainland we made our way from one side to the other side of the town and one the way we met some of the most beautiful stray cats.
The next item on our itinerary was the gated city of Kotor. As we stepped inside the gates of this city alongside Andro who was sharing the history of this ancient beautiful city, it suddenly looked we were transported back to time. The beautiful sqaure, the church and as you lookup, you see the mountains surrounding it. As the sun was already calling off for the day in this part of the world, the city lit up brilliantly with christmas decoration and lighting.
This trip would not have been this awesome if we had not booked this tour with Andro. His excellent driving skills, his knowledge of history about the Montenegro, former Yugoslavia and etc. The way he accomodated us even though we started the journey bit late than the agreed time. He made sure to help us catch a glimpse of Sveti Stefan from an excellent view point just before the sun set. With his excellent command over the English language and his very friendly nature, he will make the tour an unforgettable one. Thanks for the tips of having lunch at Little Bay in Dobrota. The view was excellent and the grilled fish was lip smacking. If you are looking forward to day trip to Montenegro, the tour provided by Andro is highly reccomended. Also as a third wheel for a couple, he took some great pictues of us
The perfect way to tour such a beautiful area. Personal, educational and customised to our special requirements!

This tour delivered on every level.
Andro was very easy to communicate with by email and WhatsApp and ensured we had a tour that was perfectly customised to suit our budget and interests, to learn and truly experience the Montenegro/Kotor area, but also to accommodate our aviation fanatic son.
From start to finish we had a fantastic time. Andro collected us from our hotel at the preplanned time. His knowledge and passion for the deep and varied history must be second to none. To hear personal accounts from a true, passionate local enriched the experience.
Variations to the tour on route were made to accommodate our interests - including changes to avoiding boarder queues (and therefore more time to explore).
The Bay of Kotor and surrounding area are as impressive as the guide books describe.
For us, a side-trip to Tivat Airport (a top 10 must see for enthusiasts) was a highlight - which Andro carefully planned around arrival and departure times.
We spent many hours of research selecting who to tour with, and were not disappointed. We will book again when we return. Thank you!

Look no further, Andro is the best private guide you can possibly get while in Croatia. He is prompt in responding emails and all the agreed itineraries were met. Guides were on time and very accommodating. We booked 2 day trips (Mostar in Bosnia Hercegovina and Kotor Bay in Montenegro) plus round trip transfers to/from airport. Everything was arranged with Andro and his prices are very reasonable. He is very engaging and gave us the history of the areas and recommended places to eat. Drop off/pick up points were convenient and gave us enough time to wonder around and explore these lovely towns. He made our first time in Croatia very memorable.
We hope to be back in Croatia and will certainly use Andro in our future trips. Best of luck Andro and till we meet again.
Best Day Tour of Montenegro from Dubrovnik

We had an amazing day touring Montenegro with our tour guide, Andro. His love for his beautiful country is obvious and we learned so much from him about the history, the people, and the local cuisine. He picked the best stops for us and it felt like we saw the best of Montenegro, explored like locals and the viewes were absolutely wonderful, or as my wife keeps calling it heaven!
We liked the tour so much that we decided to book another tour the following day through Andro to check Bosnia (Mostar and Kravice Waterfalls). And again, we were not disappointed, as our tour guide, Igor, was super nice and professional. He went out of his way to make a stop at the end of the trip to allow us to check the sunset views over Old Town Dubrovnik before dropping us at our hotel.
Do not hesitate to book! 5 star all the way
