Imagine spending the day on a sailing yacht with professional skipper. You will sail, swim, snorkel, again sail, swim, than eat, sail again, swim again. Or snorkel. As you wish. Your cruise will take place in Dubrovnik, where sailing on a race sailing yacht. We do need you to help with some of the boat functions, that way you will learn new skills. This is more for people who want to try their hand at sailing and get to see some beautiful islands along the way. It’s not luxury cruising.

Lunch is not included in the price. We will stop in a nice bay on island where is a small tavern with local domestic food for very affordable prices. Fish, meat or vegan meal.

Dubo was very accommodating and helped when we were lost. The day was great and he catered to everything we wanted to do. He was really good to chat too and very knowledgeable about the area. If wanting to visit the elaphiti islands this is a very memorable and engaging way.

A wonderful day with a small group on the sailboat! Dubo was a great, experienced guide who was super flexible with his time and let us choose how much time we spent at each destination. The restaurant that he took us to was also really amazing. Unfortunately it wasn’t super windy (can’t win them all), but a wonderful trip nonetheless! He also picked us up and dropped us off for a small extra fee. Great service all around!

We had a wonderful day sailing with Dubo. He picked us up promptly at our hotel. He gave us all the time we wanted at each stop and had a beautiful table reserved for our delicious lunch. I highly recommend this day of sailing.

It was my best experience of my stay in Dubrovnik. Our skipper/captain, Dubo, picked us up from the old city. He was very nice and took us to 3 beautiful islands and had a great swim.

Even though the sail itself was pleasant, I couldn't stand the organization. The Viator's brochure specifically offered a ride to the boat dock area for 15 euros. I attempted unsuccessfully to get in touch with the skipper on a day before the sail. At 8:30 pm the skipper finally sent me a message that he is looking forward to the sail tomorrow. When I asked him about the ride, he told me that his car is already full. I spent $45 each way on taxi. During the sail we stopped for lunch at the restaurant that was supposed to accept credit cards, but in reality, it didn't. I had to spend extra 30 euros in fees for rip-off ATM machine by the restaurant to get 100 euros of cash.
The boat itself is rather small 10 meters long, 30 years old, not well kept, with just enough basics to get through the day of sailing. It wasn't big enough for 7 people to sit comfortably on the deck. The skipper Dubo is a good sailor, but he wasn't as accommodating as I've experienced elsewhere in Croatia. Bottom line, the places we visited were fantastic. I personally would have enjoyed better another boat and another skipper.
