Our full day kayaking and snorkeling tour to Elaphite islands is one of our most diverse, most fun, and most popular kayak day tour in Dubrovnik. Travel by local ferry to Lopud island, kayak to three beautiful islands and two charming villages in the Elaphite Archipelago. Swim & snorkel in the hidden Green Cave and give yourself to the thrill of exciting cliff-jumping challenge + explore medieval towns on beautiful Elaphite islands!

What To Expect
Outdoor Croatia Sea Kayaking
Starting from Dubrovnik’s Gruž Harbor in the morning, we'll hop on the ferry for Lopud island. Scenic ride takes about one hour.

Upon arrival to Lopud and after a safety talk and kayaking instructions, we set off across the channel for the island of Šipan and the Green Cave

Upon arriving to the hidden Green Cave, we’ll tie up our kayaks and get ready for a wonderful morning of swimming and cliff jumping. But first, we’ll grab snorkels and masks and swim down through the cave’s opening. Very few know about this cave … even the locals. Inside, there is plenty of room for swimming and even standing. This large, and safe, cave opens up to reveal an ethereal green light caused by the sun’s reflection off the sandy bottom. After, the group will swim in the deep cove outside the grotto’s entrance and try some cliff jumping.

Best way to see the islands

Everything about the trip was amazing. Luka is so friendly and welcoming. He doesn’t get frustrated with the slower or the faster kayakers. He lets the group kayak freely but also makes sure everyone is ok and safe. The green cave was amazing. I definitely recommend bringing an underwater camera so you can get pictures inside of the cave. Lunch at a nice seafood restaurant with freshest fish you can imagine came just in time. Be sure to bring kuna for this. In addition to the meal, it was very nice just to sit down and get to know everyone. I definitely recommend this trip. It’s probably the best way to check out the islands.

This only really echoes other reviews but we had a fantastic day. Filip was our lovely guide (super experienced - he may even show you his international comp slalom vids). Perfect pacing to the day with the stops and amount of kayaking. It felt like proper kayaking compared to the open top ones used around dubrovnick - lokrum and it was cool to see a new area as we had already seen around dubrovnick and lokrum. It was nice to mix the kayaking up with swimming, exploring the cave and cliff jumping and the lunch was great. Filip kindly sent us photos via a dropbox link after too. Fully recommend.
