Sunj Beach
Sunj beach is on the small romantic island of Lopud, which is located near Dubrovnik between the islands of Kolocep and Sipan. This lovely sandy beach is almost a kilometer long and is located on the south side of the island of Lopud. The beach is so shallow that you have to walk 100 meters to swim, making it ideal for families with small children. Recreation lovers can have fun playing volleyball, tennis, picigin and a number of other activities.

Sipan
Šipan is one of the Croatian islands in Elafiti archipelago group. Located just over 8.3 nautical miles from Dubrovnik (about 12.5 kilometres), this is the largest island of the archipelago (area 15.5 sq km/ 6 sq miles, length of the island: 9 km/ 5.6 miles). The island has 410 permanent inhabitants. Located in an isolated idyllic bay Vrbova on the island of Šipan, BOWA does exactly what its name claims, offering the Best Of What’s Around. Bowa is a well known upmarket restaurant/ beach bar which is about 30 minutes walk from Sudurad. Their offer includes fresh oysters from nearby Ston, Peljesac and fresh seafood but it is pretty pricey.

Today the five of us met with Antonio for a full day private tour aboard a speedboat with both covered area and outdoor seating, which was perfect for our family. :)
I have to say, we had the best day with Antonio…he was so conscientious of one of our family that wasn’t good with motion sickness, taking it slow as needed to avoid any extra motion from waves for her.
He was very professional, he handled the boat as if he had been running it his whole life.
Antonio brought us to the blue, and purple caves and the big sand beach that most tourists go, all of this were great, but he also brought us to “out of the way” places that we could swim from the boat, with just us and the fish.
We stopped to have lunch on an island where we took Antonio’s recommendation on a place for lunch, and it was fabulous…from the fresh fish to the accompaniments, and with such a beautiful view of that crystal clear ocean blue.

Lovely day out with Antonio , our skipper who showed us many lovely blue and purple caves , beautiful lunch stop and quiet private swimming areas, as well as fantastic views of Dubrovnik. Kept us supplied with refreshments and tunes to go with the journey! Highly recommend.
